WHO WE ARE

I'm Maria Lamia Bourechache, founder of Quwa Bootcamps.

At the beginning of 2023, I was offered the position of Managing Director in an EdTech start-up that I had co-founded 4 years prior.

My operational performance was top-notch and I felt confident as a leader, but I was terrified of speaking in public and not being up to the job of representing the start-up, especially at conferences and in the media.

NOTHING WORKED

After trying out lots of programmes and following coaches, none of them really led to the transformation I was looking for to overcome my fear of public speaking.

WHAT I REALISED

Faced with this reality, I realised that a real ‘game changer’ was needed.
Interval coaching sessions, videos and webinars led by renowned experts, and long, theoretical PowerPoint training sessions are not enough. They provide information without REALLY BUILDING OR TRANSFORMING.
I really felt the need for an immersive, repetitive and SUPER INTENSE EXPERIENCE, similar to the preparation of an athlete. Like when the champion of Creed goes to prepare intensely in the mountains, you know the feeling?

I STARTED DEVELOPING MY OWN METHODOLOGY TO MEET MY NEEDS

I’m an educational engineer with a passion for learning patterns and it’s my job to create training that is adapted to the human brain.
So I created a framework adapted to this transformation AND I PUT IT TO WORK ON MYSELF. After which, we tested it with different groups and in several countries.

THE RESULTS EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS.
